We have just returned after a wonderful stay at Whitehouse Farm Barn. It is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views of the Derbyshire countryside. House had everything you could possibly need and rooms were all very comfortable. Would stay here again and 100% recommend it

A small but perfectly formed CL site at 1000 feet above sea level there are some wonderful views. Very close to the Tissington trail.

We have had a fantastic family holiday at Whitehouse Farm Barn. The views are incredible and it is a great location for exploring the Peak District. The accommodation has plenty of space and bathrooms, and also a large garden which is great for kids. Highly recommended.

Lovely location CL. £20 a night. Usual water supply, elsan emptying etc. Recycling area/rubbish. But very close to each other. There is room opposite the line of caravans/campers, but this isn't utilised at all. CLs are usually more spacious, not so cramped together. We'll maintained, hard standing for the units.

Very nice cottage for a few days away. Owner was very accommodating and clearly takes care of the cottage so that it is nice for visitors. There is a big kitchen with plenty of space to cook big meals if there are many of you staying. The living room is very spacious with the biggest sofa I've ever seen. I can't speak for the other rooms but the upstairs room I slept in with three single beds was very comfortable and had an en-suite bathroom with a good powerful shower and a bath. There is good sized grassy area outside which is great for sunny days. There are two beer garden style tables outside with umbrellas which were nice to sit at in the afternoon and early evening. Plenty of space for parking, I think we had five cars between us and there was still space for one more. The Wi-Fi is weak but that's not really the point of staying somewhere like this. The living room is a lovely room but I would say the lights in there were quite a harsh, jarring white and perhaps softer colour or shades would be nicer for enjoying the room in the evening.

What a gem of a site, the location is absolutely amazing many a good walks off site without having to use the car. Very quiet and relaxed and cheap as its a Certified Location that has just water and electricity which all we need as have a decent bathroom in the caravan so happy to use our own amenities. Would 100% recommend and will be certainly coming back.

Absolutely gorgeous barn, very comfortable and well appointed with great quality furniture and equipment. Family of 10 stayed and there was so much room that we felt we had lots of space. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 11 stayed at Whitehouse Farm Barn for three nights during December 2021 for my husband's surprise 70th Birthday celebration. The barn was absolutely beautiful inside and perfect for our families needs. Everything within the barn was immaculate from beautiful crisp white bedding and luxuriously soft white towels to all the lovely crockery, cutlery and utensils being plentiful and immaculately clean. I cannot fault anything and would highly recommend this barn for the perfect holiday destination, we shall definitely be back in the future. Also a big thank you to the owners Jean and Pam for helping me make the preparations for our stay so much easier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Our group of friends makes an effort to get together once a year and this year we stayed at Whitehouse Farm Barn. We found the house quite easily and it was beautifully clean. Richard walked us through the house and showed us around, walked us through everything we needed. The house is so well equipped both utensil wise and with it having a utility room with washer and dryer. The hot tub is not right next to the house but it is worth walking across the yard for the simply beautiful views across the countryside while your sat relaxing. Our whole group said the house was beautiful and spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend.

The location was ideal for exploring the Peak District and our family of 14 had a great time. However, there are a few things worth mentioning. Unfortunately some of the white bedding had blood and food stains. The toilet brushes were old and dirty. The shower curtain was mouldy. One of the oven doors wouldn't shut properly, making it tricky to feed 14 people with only one properly working oven. The owner said he was walking his dogs and asked that our dirty bed linen was in the utility room by the time he returned, which seemed an odd request, as we still had two hours to vacate the property. The property is advertised with no pets but the owner has dogs and a cat. Unfortunately the animals came into our property and the shared grounds a number of times, which was not ideal for those of us with allergies. We had unexpected visitors just wander in, so clearer signs are needed for where reception is. The garden is overlooked by campers, making it feel less private.
