Stayed in Trail View. Very spacious, clean, warm, lots of nice welcome touches. Feels like being very remote, but is actually only a few hundred yards off the main road. Would definitely recommend.

Very well equipped and spacious holiday cottage (Trail View). Perfectly clean and tidy with incredible attention to detail on guides and instructions for the facilities in the property and options to walk, bike or drive to in the wider area. 10/10

We had a lovely stay at the cottages and were looked after. The fact we could book out the pool for just our family was superb. Thanks!

We have stayed in the “Coach House” cottage at least 4 times. The property is very clean and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped which includes a washing machine and dishwasher. Any problems are sorted out quickly and efficiently. The cottages are in a good location for exploring the Peak District. There are lots of leaflets and helpful information in the cottage for ideas of where to visit. For cyclists and walkers, the High Peak Trail can be easily accessed from the cottage.

This was our second stay and, if possible, Croft Farm Holiday Cottages should be rated 6 stars. They are as near perfection as it gets. Spotless accommodation with every amenity, in a beautiful Peak District setting. Host Judith was always on hand to help and advise.

Another wonderful stay at the lovely Croft Farm Cottages. Everything is of the highest quality and Judith has thought of every possible convenience to make our stay perfect. The Welcome Basket was the best we have ever had! The cottages are perfectly situated, so close to good walks, near to Bakewell/Ashbourne/Buxton and many lovely Derbyshire villages. We will certainly be coming back - again! Joyce A

If you are looking to get away and spend time exploring the Peak District then Croft Farm Holiday Cottages will make an excellent base. We have stayed here numerous times and each and every time our stay has been faultless. The cottages are extremely clean, well presented and very well equipped and nothing is too much trouble for Judith to make your stay memorable. The cottages are home from home with all you need for a relaxing stay, from more than adequate kitchenware to allow for home cooking to comfortable furniture and bedding, making for a lovely feel to each cottage. A truly wonderful place to stay.

What a lovely place ran by lovely, caring, friendly and welcoming people! We happened to book the week of the heatwave and even before we arrived they phoned asking if we would like to be moved into on of the other properties to avoid as much of the heat as possible. Which was very thoughtful as we were travelling with a 10 month old. We ended up in a bigger cottage than the one we had booked with no extra cost. The attention to detail is spot on, even as you drive onto the site, everywhere was very smart and well presented. We found the cottage to be very clean and well equipped, better than home we felt. Everything we needed and more. The accommodation has also had a lot of thought put into it, nothing seemed out of place or unnecessary. Lovely cottage, Lovely views, Lovely people. Lovely! Can’t wait to return.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere with direct access to the High Peak Cycle Trail and this accommodation was perfect for it. We stayed in the Coach House which is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The lounge has a huge picture window that overlooks the communal courtyard (shared with 5 other properties) the afternoon sun streams through this window making the lounge really warm and this, along with full central heating and a great log burner means it is never cold. A starter pack of logs were included (extra logs could be bought for £4.50 per net) In addition to the logs and firelighters we were left some tea and coffee, cookies and chocolate fingers. We forgot to bring our own towels and Judith very kindly provided some for our stay. The kitchen is very well fitted with oak units and quality appliances including microwave dishwasher and a washing machine, lots of utensils and good quality cutlery. The bedroom has a really soft bed and bedding and a warm quilt. Leading from the bedroom was an outside door to a small patio (with table and chairs) which overlooked the driveway and there was a lawn, shared with two other properties. We are very light sleepers and the lorries leaving the gravel company just above the Coach House that use the same drive did wake us extremely early every morning. (3.30am on the Friday!) The trail was reached by a short track that led to the gated entry to the trail, from here there are three trails that can be cycled - all of them are traffic free and very safe with a number of cycle hire depots and refreshment stops. You could easily spend a week cycling and never use the car. The accommodation provided a lockable secure bike barn with power and water.

We just had a wonderful week in the Coach House. It's a beautiful place to stay, both the accommodation and the area. The coach house is really luxurious and so so clean! It has absolutely everything you might want in a holiday cottage, a real home from home. There is so much to see and explore in the area, next time we want to bring our bikes to explore on the disused railway lines. Thank you Judith for being so welcoming (at a distance :-D ) and for the bottle of local wine.
